AJ McLean is the living proof that it is possible to have a successful solo-career post-boy band. He performed in Amsterdam last week and… I’ll just let the footage speak for itself.
He plays an instrument now AND he has a kind of LA pirate-look (including nose ring) going on, both very un-boyband-ish elements. Plus: he is an ex-alcy & druggie, adding emotional depth to his songwriting. So wouldn’t you say it’s about time the world started taking AJ seriously as a solo-artist?
The really rotten thing about feeling sick is that you finally have all this time to do fun stuff, but then it’s not that much fun because you feel bad!.. So now I don’t even really feel all that much like watching some BH. Also, once you actually have tons of time, it’s kind of boring. Like how watching TV is lots of fun if you were supposed to do homework or work or whatever, but when you are actually allowed to watch TV it kind of loses its charm.
What’s also really rotten is that YouTube never works, so now I can’t watch Amy Winehouse being outrageous somewhere in Lisbon. Bless Ms. Winehouse for keeping the world entertained (except when YouTube won’t work..)
