Style icons: The Golden Girls

Upon inspecting my outfit, my boyfriend recently informed me that I resembled a Golden Girl. Now, I’m not sure whether he actually meant that as a compliment, but I just went ahead and took it as one. We already established the awesomeness of The Golden Girls anyway.

Gold accessories AND backcombed hairdo’s AND shoulder pads? I THINK SO!! Enjoy.

Mijn nieuwe held

Ikea is eigenlijk een terrasje. Heerlijk! Lekker kijken naar van die dikke tienermeiden
achter een buggy, die een halfbloedje voortduwen. En daar bedoel ik niks negatiefs mee,
want die hebben het ook waanzinnig naar hun zin, dat zijn vast ook hele goeie mensen.
Maar die kon je hier niet zo veel tegen, dus dan is het leuk om daar even een beetje naar
te kijken. Dan kom je weer terug van de Ikea, dan rijd je weer Zuid binnen, en dan denk
je: Oh eindelijk, gewoon weer mooie mensen!

Shows that are saving me from boredom this summer: Jersey Couture

Jersey Couture is a new reality soap on Oxygen set in Diane & Co. This New Jersey dress shop is run by a loud and over-the-top family, the Scali’s, who call themselves Jersey’s First Family of Fashion. Mother Diane (aka ‘the Boobologist’) tries to keep her daughters Kimberly and Christina in check while they bicker like only sisters can and apply their good taste (well..good is a relative term) to help find their customers the perfect formal dress.
